FABCAR was founded by Dave Klym in August 1977. Since then, it has established a worldwide reputation as a top quality prototype racing design and fabrication shop.
FABCAR is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis, and moved into a new 5,000 square foot facility in October of 2001. It has a complete machine shop, including a CNC milling machine and lathe, and complete in-house fabricating facilities.
In addition to innovative design ideas, Dave is actively involved in the every day operations of the business. This includes designing, fabrication and machine work.
From the smallest custom design component, to the concept, design and completion of the FDSC/03, FABCAR puts the same innovative thought, attention to detail and pride in all of it’s work.
